Mural Vote Results!

The Community has decided on an Artist to paint the Wall of the Badminton Association. The voting was extremely close, but in the end, Ann Holt was chosen. The decision was made by giving one vote each to 5 relevant community bodies. Congratulations Ann, and thanks to both artists for there excellent contributions.

Several people have commented that Mel Hill’s work is too wonderful to be left in a dusty cupboard. There has been a suggestion that it get made into a 2011 calendar and sold as a fund raiser for the SHSC group. Generously, Mel has given her OK to this idea. Anyone interested in taking on this project, please contact Andrew on 0429 015 371.

Next step, have the mural cleared by Hobart City Council J
