Results are now available for the state of the health of the Hobart Rivulet based on the Australian AUSRIVAS assessment conducted in conjunction with DPIPWE.  Both water quality data and biological data are now available and please refer to the Friends of Hobart Rivulet link opposite for more information.  In short, the rivulet is in good health above the Cascade Brewery, but access to the water way below should be limited due to health concerns.

The Community Group would like to extend their thanks to the Scientists that assisted in this project including Deb and Bruce Terry, Maria Clippingdale, Tom Krasnicki, Leon Barmuta, David Horner and John Gooderham.  A fantastic short segment on the rivulet can be viewed on ABC's Gardening Australia website - A river runs through it June 2013.

Assistance is needed to coordinate activities for the Friends of Hobart Rivulet group.  If you are interested please contact deb@southhobart.org to discuss further.
