Sustainable Living Tasmania is seeking expressions of interest for workshops to be held at the annual Sustainable Living Expo on Sat and Sun November 6th and 7th this year. The workshops will be based around the theme for this year’s expo which is expressed by the words create, innovate, connect, engage, inspire, explore.

In addition, the workshops will be organised into similar types of activity, including (but not limited to): sustainable design; living arts (e.g. clothing, rug-making, spinning, wood carving, drumming, etc); reskilling (e.g. cookery with local sustainable produce, office audit evaluation, etc); healing and well-being; and technology. Hands-on workshops or those which actively seek to engage with the community are particularly sought. Workshops are only limited by your imagination, so bring along some big ideas!

The deadline for expressions of interest to be received by our office is August 1st, 2010. Please email these to .

Expressions of interest should be brief, should outline the workshop, the organisation/group/individual presenting and the time-frame required (eg. a rug-making workshop might progress over the course of the weekend, whereas a make your own bio-fuel workshop might only require an hour or so). We look forward to hearing from you with exciting opportunities to make this year’s EXPO another great success!

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss the event further, please feel free to contact us by the above email address or by phoning our office on 6234 5566.
